DYED SILK RIBBONS
Imagine a ribbon that will create
grapes in shades of lavender, periwinkle, and pale blue...roses
shaded from pink to fuschia...peacock feathers in shimmering
shades of blue, green and teal! Our unique hand dyeing process
which produces a range of shades of one color in each ribbon
allows you to create artistic shading in each flower and leaf.
Our over dyed ribbons are dyed twice, giving each ribbon a
variety of shades of each of those colors, plus a third color
is created when the two original colors combine. The ribbon
is 100% "Kanagwa" silk, a very strong fiber that is washable
and colorfast, lustrous and delicate in appearance. We have
47 hues to choose from. The first 20 are single colors and
the last 27 are over dyes. Each color is available in 4 mm
and 7 mm widths and comes in 3 yard lengths wrapped on a card.
Order by number and width. 4 mm is $3.00 each and 7 mm is
$4.00 each.
